Books About The War by BookWormWizard on 11 October 2003 2:47pm
Ive just finished the brilliant book London At War 1939-1945(Philip Ziegler)...I found it really interesting,as I know a lot of the places mentioned in the book(I was born and brought up in East London)..My question to all of my fellow Palinites is do you know of any other second world war books that might interest me,I suppose Im looking for ones about London,as I find I can relate to this more. Thanks for all your help.Best Wishes To You As Always...David..

Thought of looking in your local library?? if you have an internet password from them you could search for other books in their catalogue list on their web site too!! (order them if not in stock!)

Good Luck - the only ones i have read are by Harry Bowling and I dont think they are the sort you mean!! sorry!!

Did you go to see Aled Jones??
