Landmarks by beatlefool on 13 October 2003 5:23am

My friend and I are very silly. Very very silly. Hence this conversation...by the way, Brooklyn Heights is a neighbourhood in Brooklyn containing 3 streets next to each other called Cranberry, Pineapple, and Orange Streets.

"Cranberries!"
"Pineapple!"
"Oranges?"
"Brooklyn Heights!"
"MICHAEL PALIN!"
"Same thing."
"Er..."
"Really. Old, attractive, famous, praised, etc...Michael Palin should be landmarked."

Old . . . for some reason I don't see "old" and "Michael Palin" together. Yes, I know his age, but I still don't see him as old.

Michael landmarked? Hmmm . . . . .

No no no...the beautiful and historical neighbourhoods and districts of NYC are landmarked. You can tell when a place is landmarked because it is kept very well and the street signs are brown instead of green. My friend was drawing a parallel between landmarked districts and Michael in her weird "I love historical NYC" way. When two people love historical NYC and Michael, things are bound to get confusing.

Michael could be the first moving landmark.

Re: Landmarks by Dianne on 15 October 2003 1:36am

We can't have Michael as a bookmark Lyn! He would get very squashed amongst the pages of the book. Poor Mikey!

Landmark, bookmark, postmark, Deutch Mark, er...

We don't want any of your deutchy markys! Oh, we do? Sorry...*redial*

Well, that was random. And odd, because my train of thought just went: "Deutch Mark...Deutch...German...Mike talking in German...Mike talking in German with an Australian accent...kangaroo's bum...Michael riding a kangaroo...worse than the camel...I've rode a camel..."

*shakes head*
