Life of Brian.......(cry with laughter)

1492 Conquest of Paradise (the ending is very sad)

My mind has gone blank at the moment. Later maybe :)

Brian's Song-a legendary TV movie about Brian Piccolo, an American football player played by James Caan. A true story.

Titanic-my daughter's favorite movie. She's too young for boys yet, but she still cries over all the carnage & whatnot.

Yes, George, I cried my eyes out on Brian's Song. That's a pretty old one you came up with.

When I was in my youth, I cried at Spartacus, starring Kirk Douglas and Jean Simmons.
Then I cried and cried and cried as a teen at "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" starring William Holden and Jennifer Jones. Sobbed my heart out.
And at a less worthy movie (box office success-wise) I cried darn hard at "Camelot" . Just a few examples of what a slobbering romantic I have always been.

"In America" last year made me cry harder than any movie I've ever seen. It was great, though.
I think I could cry at Seabiscuit, if I ever saw it...
and Titanic made me laugh. I couldn't help it. I hate Leonardo DiCaprio.

Oh, and I forgot the major choking-up moments in the last LOTR picture.
When Pippin sings...
when Sam carries Frodo up the mountain...

sniff.

You know, everytime I see that movie, I miss out the end of it cos I fall asleep. I have never seen the last 15 minutes of that film.

I have a headache; I'll put my movies up tomorrow.

I didn't see "Titanic" starring Leonardo. His baby face looks don't do anything for me. Give me a man who isn;'t so babyfaced or prefect. I like 'em a little rugged and/or a bit imperfect. As for the original movie.... It was a real tearjerker.

I agree with notquiteenglish, although the 1st LOTR is sad the last is very upsetting. The bit at the end when Frodo leaves for the grey havens and Sam, Merry and Pippin are crying is definately tear jerking. Even listening to the music upsets me. AND I'm a boy!
I will try and think of other films, oh the end of saving private Ryan, and Ryan ( as an old man) is crying over Miller's grave (Tom Hanks), after he was shot protecting Ryan in the war, and there are all the world war 1 crosses. It makes you think how many soldiers lost their lives during the war.
