The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Yes!!!!!! by little-peep on 15 December 2002 10:34pm
Guess what? in RE, we're studying Luke's Gospal, and, the life of Jesus. since it's nearly christmas, we are being allowed to watch 'life of brian'!!! YES!!!!!!!!!
definitely the most intersting lessons this week......!
unfortunitly, this means 2 things.
1. I will blush whenever you-know-who is on, and this could prove hard to explain to a bunch of yr 11 girls.
2. That i shall be hysterical for a good hour on mon & tue...esp when it's pontius pilot! This could be embarassing.... i'll just have to stuff my mouth with tissues, and hope for the best!!!

i wish we could watch life of brian in RE. However my RE teacher is really boring and would never let us see anything that would give us amusement

You've got to be kidding me! You're so lucky!!! Is your teacher a Python fan or he/she just thought it'd be nice? Man, I want to see that movie again!!! So bad!!! My friend owned a 7 dollar fine on that video once, I think she still has it actually...

LOL, awesome, little-peep! Should be enjoyable!

I've never been lucky enough to be in a class where we'd watch it, but I was talking to a friend in my choir class last week and I mentioned Monty Python. I can't remember whether or not I brought up LOB or if she just told me she'd seen it, but I guess they'd watched it in one of her world religion classes at the university. She seemed lukewarm on the movie. Heh.

We did get to watch Holy Grail in my English class in 10th grade after we'd finished the Camelot unit. I wasn't really into Python at the time, but I loved the movie. Funny thing is, not long after that, I became obsessed with both the Arthurian Legend and Python!

Little-peep, I understand how you feel...when I was unexpectedly watching Terry J telling me about the Crusades in my Early Civ class, it was all I could do to keep from shouting in surprise and excitement. ;O)
