Am I missing a book signing schedule somewhere on the site? Phyll, did you get the info from the bookstore itself?

Re: WOOPIE DUNDEE by peripatetically on 22 July 2004 7:16pm

It was on this website by another Palinite.

Re: WOOPIE DUNDEE by Ken Dunn on 22 October 2004 6:59pm

Well, my wife, daughter and I got to Dundee last Monday, bought the book, joined the queue at 4pm and Michael signed it for all of us at 5.45pm. It was worth waiting for and Michael gave us the snippet of information that the top 300m of Everest is made of limestone (which proves it was under the sea a very long time ago).
Sorry r-p, missed your reply to my post back in July. My details are in the vitals. Did you get to the signing?

Re: WOOPIE DUNDEE by risible-phyll on 22 October 2004 10:22pm

YES! Ken I did get my book signed, you must have been quite near to me as I was lucky to *make contact* with the man himself at approx. ten past six, we was funny and charming as I spoke about my *friends* on Palins travels DO you think it was a bit strict with the crowds Ken????? because I haven't heard anyone else post about the line being stopped at a certain point???????
it was stopped right behind me, so I considered myself one lucky, lucky bastard, lots of folk went away and for some reason or another more got to join the que again?????? surely when the decision was made and the poor folk left that should have been it??????MMMMMM but I suppose they were the next group of lucky bastards , depends what side of the fence you were sitting on?????

remind me Ken where do you hail from??? and did you travel through for the day???????
Phyll xo

Ps did you hear an ambulance pass with siren going while you were waiting in the que?, I was worried incase Lyn had stalked Michael again and he fainted in shock!!!lol.....
