Michael and Graham Norton by Dianne on 30 December 2002 1:28am
Who saw it and who can tell me what happened, because I did not see it. If I'm lucky they will show it here in NZ in a year or two. It seems that is how far we are behind with the Graham Norton TV series we have now.

Who's Graham Norton and what did they do?
Re: Michael and Graham Norton by Rusted on 30 December 2002 8:58am
LOL, I echo what nottlob said.

Straight and to the point - no long winding sentences that look really verbose and complex when they're really quite simple and could be said in about half the amount of words that were actually used.

Oh dear. I've done it again, haven't I?!

I only saw a tiny bit of the interview unfortunately. Didn't learn much. But I can explain somewhat.

Graham Norton is a camp comedian with his own show. he is quite popular in Britain. He appeared a few times in 'Father Ted', don't know if anyone has heard of this, you would if live in the UK I can assure you.

Mr. Palin did receive a lifetime acheivement award from the British TV Comedy Awards a few weeks ago in which he gave an acceptance speech with a slight anti-war message. Typical Palin, what a guy!

I'll add to that......
You can catch Graham Norton's show on BBCA in The States. I think on Friday nights(?). It's periodicaly on throughout the weekends as well.
I don't, however, know about the Graham Norton-Michael thingy. Our episodes are a bit behind as well.

How interesting that most of the people who wrote on this thread did not see the programme. :-)

Where are the people who saw it? Why have you not answered my question? Okay, I shall name a certain person, because there is someone I know who saw it. At least this person claimed he saw it . . . Rick! I want details man! I'm a woman and we love details. :-)

I havent seen it! But i've seen the show. It's funny! The episode with Steve Irwin (crocodile hunter) is premiering in the BBCA on this monday.... is that behind?
Re: Michael and Graham Norton by MissTrixiB on 5 January 2003 9:56pm
I'm not sure....the 'Dollywood Holiday Special' was from last year. I think we are a little behind. I would assume thata the Steve Irwin appearance would've been to promote his film and that was released about 6 mos. ago. But you know what they say about the word 'assume' (makes an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me' ;) )
Still waiting for an answer to Dianne's question.........
Re: Michael and Graham Norton by kelley on 6 January 2003 12:05am
i saw it, but have to admit that i don't really remember what happened. i got the impression it was a repeat cause they didn't mention the sahara series/book and i though i recognised some of the things they did.

I dod remember he was wearing the usual black jacket and jeans i think. looked very nice. There was some embarassing bit when graham did the interesting internet site part. i'll have a look and see if i taped it, i know i taped the parkinson thing ages ago but don't know about graham.

BTW did anyone see him on the Jools Holland show a few weeks ago? he was only on for abit advertising the new series! Or is the jools holland thing just shown on BBC NI??

kelley (on a quest to find the holy copy of the graham nortan show - what other trusty and brave Knights will join me??)
