  The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Messages 1 2

Thank you by Nikolajf on 8 January 2003 1:36pm
I merely wanted to thank you for an excellent website. The series have always been a favorite of mine and it is uncanny how the subtle charm of the show has crept into this website.
Please keep up the good work and Happy New Year!

Nick (Cambridge, MA, U.S.A.)

Hey Nick! Just wanted to say hi from a fellow Massachusetts Palinite. I agree, it's a great website and a wonderful community of people.

Are you as sick of this snow as I am?

Stephanie from Peabody, MA

Hi Stephanie and Nick,
I'm a neighbor in Connecticut-- and I am VERY sick of this snow! It would be nice if it stopped for ONE day!
Be well, my fellow New Englanders,

Can Massachusetts Visiting Palenites also say thanks?

Sure, Laura! We don't discriminate! :^)

May I laugh maniacally because up here in USUALLY snow-ridden, freezing Wisconsin we've had hardly *any* snow this winter?????

Seriously, East Coasters - welcome to the site!

The sun came out today. There is an abundance of muddy slush now. ooooh, lovely!
I love winter!

If it makes you feel any better, the weather in California (Northern) is pretty ugly today too. I mean, it's mid-January already; it's time for spring!
Re: Thank you by Rusted on 10 January 2003 9:19am

So it was absolutely freezing today.

And it snowed. (Thankfully it melted once it hit the ground.)

Crikey!! :-}}

All this talk of snow (but definately not muddy slush I'll grant you) is making me feel less hot and sticky!! :-}

It was 26oC at midday with a hot whirly wind that blew our vertical blinds into a knot!!

Now at 10:32pm it's still 20oC outside and very humid. If this were England we'd be having a ripper of a thunderstorm by now which would clear away the soup of negative ions that's giving us all headaches, but here it just hangs around unresolved.

Hope you're all warm and dry and safe when travelling through the icy conditions. Thinking of you making snowmen. :-}}
Enjoy...... :-}}

With love

Ellen x

P.S. I meant it about keeping safe as you're all very precious you know.. :-}}
