Great news about ripping yarns! Personally, I didn't swoon but appraciated his manliness. Michaels always been much more manly than Julie Andrews in my humble opinion.

ruth, why be paranoid, i think your yorkshire accent is fantastic, in fact its a simular accent to mine. funny i never thought we had a funny voice in south yorkshire, eee by 'eck lass, im chuffin'paranoid nar lo. as for mr p, he looked that old i thought he was going to need restarting at points hahaha

Well change my batteries and flick my switch Tone, never ,you may have the voice but the smell will always be there!!!!!lol.......
I think Julie Andrews has overdosed on the old botox, whatcha think Alan!?????? she looked a bit like a startled Rabbit in a cars headlight beam, which made Michael look so much more mature and *lived in * ..lol
still on cloud swoon...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

He was definately the best guest on the show - tho' Ant and Dec were good too. Needless to say I was laughing all the way through his interview! Especially when he said at the end that he and the old bloke who'd written a love ode to a yak were going on tour together hee hee!

Like everyone's said, good news about Ripping Yarns (the first one, about schooldays, was my fave! Hilarious!).

Now looking foward to Himalaya next week! Can't wait!
