US Elections -- non-US views?

Did any non-US folks watch our debates last night? Since our own press won't tell us what people in other countries think, I thought I'd ask this group -- I believe there's a rather wide range represented here, no?

Hi sminobe and Helen
To answer the first question, I have not seen that. But I`d have liked to have done so!
America rules the world now.

Well, it seems to me that John Kerry has spent too much time in a solarium. What colour IS that anyway?? As for Dubya, what can I say that hasn't already been said? "Roll em, roll em, roll em..."
Australia's federal election is on 9 October. I can barely contain my excitement... *insert gagging noises here* |

i am not political . i hate politics and politcians . however the only english speaking chanell we had on our tv while we were away was cnn . so i saw the reaction to the big debate . it would have been about 2 am here when it was going out live but i saw some highlights . kerry got some good points over on bush . especially his response to bush's previous comment that we attack our enemy after he attacked us . kerry replied sadam hussein never attack us it was osama bin laden . boy did that make bush rather angry he snapped back i know sadamn huessien never attacked us . it was very funny to watch !
personally i think it is the people who won;t vote that will give bush the second term .
i think the comment made by an irish political pundit about our last general election can apply here too . he said choosing between the 2 main parties is like choosing wheather you should jump off the 13th or 14th floor of a building . it makes no difference .

yeah, Kerry ate Dubya for lunch. It was embarrassing to watch.
I mean, this over blown, idiotic, glorified party boy is our PRESIDENT?
Ugh.....
Kerry better win, or it's Canada here I come.... |

What was with Kerry's hand motions, looked like he was directing an airplane after landing, also how did he manage to get that radioactive orange look? |
