Book tour for US Cities by MissTrixiB on 22 January 2003 6:01am

I just got word from Harriet Seltzer (as in the water). I THINK she works for the publishing company, but don't hold me to it. The cities for the US tour are as follows (no surprises here):
New York
Chicago
Los Angeles
San Francisco
(looks like I'll be adding 'Road trip to Chicago'to my future travel plans).
Sorry Rusted....you may want to start working on your parents NOW!
I'll see if I can get the dates and add them to this post as soon as I can ('post haste'?!?)
kisses-
trixi

DAH! No Seattle! :'( That sorta sucks...I mean, what if you live in Florida? What about the states at the bottom??? It's such a SMALL trip! I guess I'm not going to get Michael's autograph for my not yet arrived "Hemingway's Chair" novel :( It's been a month! Why haven't they called me yet??? Maybe I should call THEM...

Ah, well. *sigh*

We'll see how far fellow Python fan is willing to drive to see Michael. Chicago is 3 hours away from me. Could be worse, I suppose! (Hey, will I be meeting you then, Trixi??)

The only qualm he might have with it is that he doesn't really like getting autographs so I don't know if he'd be willing to drive all that way. Of course, he lives in Milwaukee, so Chicago's closer than 3 hours for him!

So who knows...I hope more dates are added, but if not, I'll find a way to make it there!

~Mary
"Won't you please come to Chicago?"

Any word on the Canadian dates yet Trixi? I don't think I could take a 10 hour train ride to NYC or Chicago! *sighs* Come on... Toronto's the 5th largest city in North America! How can you miss it?!?!

Oh!!! Good news Kristine! I know DEFINATELY he is going to Toronto! Right after Chicago! I asked Michael in a letter and Ms.Davies told me. She didn't say that Michael is going to Seattle though, I guess he isn't :'( But for sure, Toronto!

I can't believe I am going to finally meet Michael Palin!!!! I only hope my schedule and his schedule are compatible. This has finally given me something to look forward to throughout the long dreary winter (besides spring and warm weather). I can't even express how excited I am!!!! I do hope that I get a chance to meet several of the people here at Palin's travels. That would be great to put names and faces together. Too bad we don't have some sort of sign with which to recognize each other!!

Congrats Erin Love! Glad to see another Palinite's dream start to unfold! Oh, I wish April would just come right now! I just want to give Mr. P a giant hug for being so bomb diggity. (*winks at Mary*)Maybe I should make him an early Birthday Card. Hmmm...*ponders*
I'm not looking extreamly forward tommorow. Even though I get to sleep in a little and have most of the day off from school... I need to take my French exam! *dramatic chord* NI! *chuckles* couldn't help myself. Anyways, wish me luck on that...

Though on a better note, I got some stuff back from English and Science today. I got 72% on my Biology test. Which isn't bad considering the fact that Science is a weaker subject of mine. And, I got PERFECT on my Essay I did on George Harrison. Worked hard on it too! 12 pages plus of rough notes. If anyones interested in reading, you can e-mail me at:

Just wanting to test out this new one know?
