The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Attention all New Zealanders by MattD on 5 October 2004 12:46pm
Hello my fellow kiwis.

I'm very exicited to see Himalaya on our screens on October 12 - and with this I am assuming Michael will be touring downunder to promote his book and series. This time I am NOT going to miss out on his presentation! :) - Last two visits i've missed out as they were sold out in days. Apparently the ticket person told me that at prior presentations visitors were able to enter their information and would be contacted when Michaels next visit would be.. of course i didn't find out about this till later..at which point it was too late. Can anyone confirm this? If so is someone able to immediately post here when/if they get notice of his upcoming visit?

I thank you all in advance :)!!!

No details of him coming to Wellington yet :-( but I live in hope, as the recent visit by Rick Stein to NZ didn't originally include Wellington, but he did eventually put in an appearance at Dymocks on Lambton Quay.

Dymocks have suggested that MP will be appearing in Wellington on the evening of November 12th - this is a Paper Plus event, not Dymocks, so I'm waiting for a reply from Paper Plus to confirm.

Would love to find out. Was lucky enough to see Michael in Dunedin last time.

Not that I can tell - it appears to be a flying visit. You can buy tickets over the phone for the Wellington appearance from the Book Council.
