The Chatter Box : Blathering On
I LOVE YOU BBC by bathsheba on 5 October 2004 2:15pm

The first episode of Himalaya was scrumptious. With the breathtaking scenery and backdrop of mountains, mountains and more mountains, I waited with anticipation for God to show his face and do an interview with Michael but alas, no chance!

I found the people Michael met surprisingly endearing, even the gunmakers, lol. The woman who had just had a baby and was given bread as part of the purification looked ever so thrilled, NOT, me thinks she just needed a nice cup of tea and a hug!! Michaels mellow, yet witty (the comment about the crowds being so happy the police had to come along was hilarious) narrative continued throughout, gently coaxing us into his world which was Himalaya. Thus the audience deluged in a river of interesting facts and figures I began to ponder giving up my annual trip to whitby and go climb the Himalayas too!! Nah Ill just buy the book and dvd!!

Love Ruthy
