Lost In The Himalaya update by tan on 16 November 2004 1:48am

Hi everyone!

Following the great response to the message posted a couple of weeks ago about the creation of the Lost In The Hiamlaya (http://get-me.to/thehimalaya) site, I'm back just to let you all know about the some of the recent updates.

For those of you unfamiliar with the site, it's main focus missing persons in the Himalaya. We report cases of people missing in the region (Franck Veismann is the latest addition), we offer advice on how to search (especially using the web to track down people who can help in a varietry of ways) and of course the best cure is prevention so we have information on how to stay safe.

Since last posting the site has taken on a brand new look; bugs have been fixed; a breaking news centre is included; the first hand views & experiences of families & friends of some of those who are missing have been added; our members have now posted over 200 messages so we already have a wealth of information to offer.

I thank those who have stopped by already and I hope you and others reading this will visit the site and start sharing the valuable information you have, it could help find a missing person.

Cheers

Hi. The link you gave, was missing a "h" in the Himalaya word.

Here is the corrected link :

Godfather, thanks for that (I have edited the link nevertheless and it should work).

BTW, have you visited the site and shared your knowledge?
