The Guest House and the Python (MP) by Diamond on 20 March 2005 10:31pm

Well this weekend my uncle came over and as he lives in suffolk brought over some old magazines for us to look through AND >>>>>> there was one called SOUTHWOLD - it is a East Anglain Daily Times special edition magazine i think it dates from around 2001

My mum found an article in it that relates to Michael

"The Guest House and the Python"

Dunburgh has a special place in the heart of ex Python Michael Palin, he used to stay in it as a boy when it was the guest house Glan-y-don.

Thats why Glan-y-don became one of the stars of East of Ipswich an affectionate TV retracing of Mr Palin's childhoos foot steps.

* the article then goes on about the current owners artistic style on the house etc and shows nice pics of the interior etc*

Karen (present owner) certailny is doing what Mr Palin asked of her. In a book signing he wrote a little personal message saying how special the house is to him and asked her to look after it.
