The Chatter Box : Blathering On
FISHFINGERS by cheese on 22 May 2005 2:42pm
As a fan of the popular seafood dish, Fishfingers and speaking as someone who considers themselves to be a "fan" of Michael Palin, I'd like to take this opportunity to start a petition demanding that he posts a picture of himself eating a fishfinger(s) on this website.
I know many of you may regard this as flippant but I have long advocated a Palin-fishfinger picture and feel it vital to the future of Mr. Palin's fan base in my house.
I'd also like to know other peoples views on fishfingers as well as fishfinger related products. I'm sure you've all got lots of stories to share.

I adorrrrrrrre fishfingers I like mine with just a tiny bit of tomato sauce and I'd dearly love to see Michael scoffing into a handful!
As far as fishfinger related products I prefer the originals ..those little fish shaped ones are just plain silly! They look nothing like fish OR fingers.

Perhaps Michael could be photographed doing the fishfinger slapping dance?

In "Jabberwocky," wasn't Fishfinger the name of the awful family whose daughter Dennis was in love with?

Perhaps you should look for a pic of MP and the Fishfinger family from "Jabberwocky" and that would be satisfactory.

KAZZZZ~ regarding the 'fishfinger' slapping dance .. as i lover of fish fingers i feel that this would be a waste of the heavenly fish finger Also i feel that the fishfinger may not hold up to frequent 'slappage' like a whole fish ;-)

IMorse~ its very true about what you say happens to the making of the fish finger before it graces our plates. I tend to buy the fish fingers made out of fillets of fish rather that the fish~mush ones but both are equally yummy in a sarnie with tomatoe sauce :)

IMorse, may I ask, do you work in a fishfinger factory? If son, do you think you should be revealing their secrets to the succulent taste? :-)

canaveralgumby, I've never seen Jabberwocky and so I didn't realise that there was someone called Fishfinger in it. I will go out and buy it right now and press pause on the TV then get a digital camera, take a photo of MP with Fishfinger, post it to the Webmaster and hope that it gets on the site.

Can I just thank Kazzzz for signing my petition. You are the third best person who has ever lived in the world ever.
