or where michael palin got his bag from coz i really like it and would like a bag like tht!!!!!!!! plz can any one help!!!!!

I belive he uses a bag by either House of Hardy or Barbour in Hemingway. Not sure though, but it has a resemblance to my own bag from House of Hardy (Although mine is slightly smaller.)

After 80 days and Pole to Pole, I had moved to the US, which has dirth of british television. Until the Travel Channel started covering your series.

These online books are a great help to avid travellers and adventurers like me.

His bag from Himalaya is from Whitehousecox wwww.whitehousecox.co.uk
It is 124 GPD to buy and I think it is a limited run. Their customer service is first class so they should be able to help you. They are expensive, but very well made (by hand I beleive) and should last you years!

rockport stuff is gorgeous.

here in canada, we have something very similar, made by roots. (but if you're heading to australia, best leave it at home.)
