You are all so fortunate. I would love to meet him but he probably won't be doing any book signings where I live. [SIGH].

Is he as nice in the flesh as he is in photos and on TV?

Hey everyone! thanks by Miss Lumberjack on 18 October 2002 11:31am

I really want to travel when I am older (only being 16 I can't really because I am doing AS levels) I would love to travel with Michael because he is experienced, I really want to meet him aswell!

Hi Palinsick and Yan86
I just met Michael for the first time yesterday in cambridge and he is everything i expected of him, genuine smiley, and well worth the hours drive to get there and the hour and a half wait to get signature and talk to the great man, he so smiley and just how he is on the TV, he was signing for about two hours! I think travelling across the sahara would have been easier for him, cant wait to see him again - hopefully in London. Try and see him somewhere even if it means travelling you will not be disappointed. Lyn

Met Mike in Piccadilly and he was friendly, chatty and totally GORGEOUS throughout! He was only supposed to be there for an hour but stayed for 2 and a half so everyone would get their book signed!! A thoroughly nice man and exceptionally beautiful in all ways

Can each person only get one book signed? It seems reasonable but I'm only asking in case you could get one signed for a mate.

I realise that there would have to be limits to the number of books you could bring because he does have his own life.

I'm only 14, I can't handle this kind of stress! I can't wait too much longer to see Michael Palin! (Well, assuming he comes to LA...which I think he will...)
