Audio CD of "the Pythons" by gumby on 19 August 2005 6:24am
I just bought the two CD version of the "The Pythons" autobiography. It is a lot of fun to actually "hear" in their own words the history of the pythons. If you haven't gotten it yet....why in bloody hell not....sorry! I found it at Barnes and Noble (you can order it on line too!) Speaking of which, I can't wait for my copies of Do not Adjust your Set and the At Last The 1948 Show!

I didn't even know that there's an Audio CD... But, thank's for telling. I bought the book right after its release and it would be really great to actually hear all the stuff ;-).

The CDs contain interviews taped from Bob McCabe during preparation of the book. The tapes were made only for collect informations in the first place and not meant for the public. But fortunately for us the material was finally arranged in some kind of an audiobook with some funny additions from Michael and released. The sound quality is "home made", you know background noises, telephon rings and so on. But that makes it quite personal just like having the Pythons in your own living room for a chat and it's great!
