Silly question by bandgeek512 on 3 November 2005 7:51pm
Okay, I’ve spent quite a long time debating on whether or not I should mail this letter that I have written to Mr. Palin. I had a question about mailing it, however. I have decided that I am going to end up sending it no matter what the content of the replies that are posted regarding my question.

…Now is the point in which a Viking would shout at me to get on with it…

Nonetheless, I was wondering if Mr. Palin himself would read the letter if I sent it to the address provided here. Silly question, I am aware, but I am wondering…

I haven't noticed Michael responding to threads on this website (that I can remember) but he has replied to letters and if your question is really silly he might not respond at all. You may be able to get the answer to your question by posting it here instead of wasting the cost of a stamp in posting a letter to which you may not get a reply. Silly answer?

I wrote to him and although he didn't write back himself, i got a personal reply from his secretary who said that she would show him my letter anyway. I'm sure you'd get the same at least, worth a try!!

Yes, it does seem worth a try. I'll send it anyway and post it here just for good measure as well. Though, it's not anything *too* exciting or remarkable. :-P

It's seven handwritten pages. Insanity runs rampant? I very well think so!

Has anybody else written to Mr. Palin?

I'll be sending my letter either tomorrow or Monday.

Wish it luck!

This silly idea that follows came to me whilst in a state of being not quite awake, but not completely asleep...Trance-like, if you will.

I was thinking about this annoying little tape recorder that I've always got in my purse. I tend to use it only for memos and notes to myself about random things in life; but I was thinking that my younger brother and I could put it to good use by recording a message to Mr. Palin. I could buy a blank tape and we could record a personalized message for him.

My brother, Haden (age 13), got angry with me for writing my letter without telling him about it first. He wanted to add some things in. But, the thing is, he didn't want to write anything himself. He wanted me to postscript something in for him. I had already used up a full seven pages and didn't want to add an eighth.

So, that brought me to the idea of recording something. It would be a simple voice recording, containing veritable “shout outs” and such (accolades, praises in song form, et cetera). I mean, I am always using this tape recorder, why not do something productive with it?

Thoughts? Opinions?

Fish slapping?

Seven pages?!? Darling you want to help me write my novel? LOL! :-) You should photocopy it. I would never handwrite such a letter. I would have become a doctor if I were good at Science. My handwriting is that bad. I'd be afraid to have a Graphologist look at it. Hmmmmm...
You will have to let us know if you receive a response.

Ha, Mike! I told you I ramble on!

I have a scanner, so I will photocopy it! Now, note, I didn't say my handwriting was *good*. It's legible, yes, but that's all it has going for it. :-P It's in cursive because my print handwriting is even scarier! *hides from the horror of her own print writing*
