horse riding central park by irishladette on 21 April 2006 4:07pm

Yeah, strange one I guess, but as I've ridden in Asia, South America, Africa, of course Europe - have to aim for North America - will be in NYC in November - can you still ride around Central Park and where do I go about getting hiring a horse? Thanks fellow Palinites

Ladette, not strange, but some links for you.

It isn't cheap. It is $50/hour.

Too bad you wont be in New York a month earlier. I will be there and could act as your guide. Are you going for business or for pleasure and for how long? Where are you staying? Email me if you have further questions.
Mike

I was in New York last weekend and noticed the wide Horse Riding lanes in Central Park.
Despite the price, I'd say it should be fun.
Next stop, Spain via Gatwick this coming week.

You do have to negotiate your horse through several blocks of Manhattan traffic to get to the Park so don't schedule your ride at rush hour.
