Favourite games. by Ken Dunn on 5 July 2006 6:27pm
What favourite games do we have?
On the computer I like Mah Jong Solitarus. On the Play Station I like Colin McRae Rally and between friends either chess or Gin Rummy.

I really love to play bridge when I get the chance (which isn't often). I prefer non computer games. I used to play Traveller (role playing game) some years ago and many many board and other types of game. Diplomacy, Risk, Wooden Ships and Iron Men, Kingmaker and Ace of Aces being my favourites.

As far as computer games go, I lost interest but used to play Chuckie Egg on my BBC B back in the 80's.

I used to play Gin Rummy, but haven't played in years. Same with chess. I played Faro with an actor playing Doc Holiday in Tombstone.

Playing the Fool, that's quite good. ANYTHING with Spongebob in it. Mariokart, wot a total classic.

I stink at board games, though I'm passable at Monopoly and I once won Stratego. Once. I like games like Scattergories, Pictionary, and anything involving word play, because I'm good at that.

My daughter loves a game called Khet, which is sort of like chess (I haven't played it yet). Some pieces have mirrors, and you have to turn them so that they deflect a laser beam to your opponent's piece. It looks like fun.

I like Mah Jongg Solitaire, and I got so addicted to Spider solitaire my husband de-installed it! I used to love Chicktionary, but they haven't changed the words in awhile. I'm terrible at anything that requires dexterity with a mouse or keyboard.
