your common sence could be wrong... by arty_farty on 11 August 2006 4:20pm
if you decide to go into town but instead of staying on the central line, you get on to the DLR and jubilee lines and end up walking the wrong way along bond street and having to go back the way you came this time going the right way.
finaly arriving back home by the route you should have taken on the way and with a dead leg that makes the walk to your house realy fun...

all because you thought 'there's bound to be a WH smith in Canary Wharf some where..'

Or you keep walking down the deserted higwhay until you come to a lake. Finding a dead-fall tree for shelter, you curl up beneath for protection from possible inclement weather.

Awakening before day break, you start walking again...there are no lights, no signs on the road, not a clue as to where you are...

After a few hours of walking, the sun on your back...the lessons taught in school come back to you, the ones you had no use for...sun on my back in the morning? walking to the west away from the town and the roads?

Turning around and looking down across the valley, you see the ribbon of asphalt that is your path to your breakfast.
