The website by the way is excellent! |

Youre right - met Michael in Cambridge last week and what you see on Tv is Michael Palin - he is so smiley even though the queue was so long - I waited an hour and a quarter to see him and was third in the queue, when I went back to the shop at 7.15pm - Michael had started signing at 5.30pm - he was just leaving and was so courteous to all the staff - havent met a more sincere person. This website is brilliant - feel so lucky to have the internet I would not have found out where Michael was going to be without it! |

You are both so right! We waited for an hour and 20 minutes to see Michael in Dundee on Monday 21st October. Absolutely charming, and he took the time to say a few words to my son who was too overwhelmed to speak to him! Such a genuinely nice person - a rare thing nowadays. Felt we could just have sat and chatted all evening - what a treat that would be! Have just discovered this site, but what I`ve seen so far looks great. Looking forward to having a right good rummage! Thanks to Michael and everyone concerned. Keep up the good work guys. |

You are so lucky to have had the chance to meet him, living in Cornwall, my chances of ever getting to meet him are pretty slim i fear and reading your messages about how lovely and "nice" he is,is really making me envious.I'd gladly queue for ages for the chance of seeing him in the flesh.Does he look any different when you see him for real?(even MORE gorgeous possibly?)

SueJL, he really is just as lovely, if not lovelier - if that`s possible!!! I think he`s probably a bit overwhelmed by it all though - bless! If you ever get the chance, go and stand in that queue girl! More than worth it! |

Sue
Take a holiday in London the first week in Dec and go and see him there - he should be there more than once? I hope to go up to see him again - I told him when I met him that I had waited years to see him and it was my first meeting - He asked me was it worth it? I replied - yes definitely! he is briliant my son is 15 and wants the poster Michael signed above the computer - he loves Monty Python! might take him with me - on second thoughts!!
Go for it - if the mountain wont come to Mohammed and all that - you know what to do. believe me it will be worth it - One Life! |

I am so envious of you lucky people. I only knew he was in Dundee when I read the Courier that day. I wouldn't have been able to go, I was at work. I have always thought Michael Palin would be a nice person to meet and you have proved me right. I just love him to bits and I adore his series and his books. I would dearly love to meet him one day. |

I cried and cried last Monday when Michael came to Aberdeen. I couldn't wait in the queue any longer and had to return to work. Felt like a love-struck teenager seeing Robbie Williams live for the first time!!! Never mind I know I will meet him before I die, that is my quest in life!! |

totally agree with everyone. i was on a bus for nine hours to meet him in glasgow on tuesday and my brother, who came with me was just a teeny bit dismissive. however even he agreed that he was kinda alright ( he actually had better chance to judge cos i actually am a love struck teenager and was too overcome to speak) pathetic. michael also told my mate magnus that he had a great name. just if anyone is interested. at all |
