The Chatter Box : Blathering On

I noticed how much of a turn out that Sophie had when she said that she was leaving. When someone made a thread and posted that they wanted her to come back, people posted in it--and she came back.

I’m thrilled that Sophie came back!

But, we’re still missing someone.

Have we forgotten about Anne? I haven’t. I’m sad that the only threads dedicated to Anne have turned absolutely gruesome. The ones saying how much we miss her because she’s gone ended up with people saying rude things about her. I know Sophie wouldn’t have wanted to come back to hurtful comments about her wanting to leave. Shouldn’t we be nice to Anne as well?

I know I want her to come back.

Anyone else with me?

I miss you, Anne. :(

**If you have something negative to say about her, then do us all a favor: Keep it to yourself. It's over. We're past whatever happened. I just want Anne to come back.**

I have emailed Anne - hopefully she will come back soon. There have been a lot of misunderstandings all round. So, come back soon too, Anne.

I too would be glad if Anne returned to the community as I am glad that Sophie returned. It seems to me that the conflict was initiated by trolls in other threads and it escalated into nearly all postings. It was hurtful and boring in the end with 2 of us feeling dejected. For the sake of our community - please please ignore the trolls.

Many of us will be happy to see you re-join this group, Anne. Even trolls have a right to say things that may be difficult for others to accept. That's just the way some of us humans are when searching for some kind of attention or reaction from others.

You don't need to respond to them, let alone try to convince them of anything! Besides...who is going to referee that game you started?

I've emailed her as well.

Thank you everyone for your support both on the board and in private emails. It makes me feel all warm inside !! Aaah! :-)

I see that KM1 is still being a pain and - worse - that people are still encouraging him!!! [You know who you are].

C'mon people - just ignore trolls - don't argue, but also don't 'pat them on the back'!! Let's just not 'say' ANYTHING to them (and I know I'm an offender here!!)

[Suppose I'm now going to be called a control-freak or something!!!] :-(

Good advice, Anne. It's great to see you back here!

If you guys just ignore each other's dichotomous expression of views made by people far apart in age and experience...this site sill be a happier place.

Thank you Geraldine!

We still have "the problem" though I see!!
