If you do win, remember us, won't you? LOL

So, Anne, you are always one for keeping things neat and tidy. Why don't you just round it off to an even 80 million pounds and send the offending 8 million to me?

No need to thank me for the idea, I'm always trying to help!

Of course I'll remember you, er, what was your name again? ;-)

And LT, sorry, but I'm very scruffy when it comes to keeping money tidy
;-)

LOL! Anne. You could buy the Dominican Republic. I keep thinking all the Dominican baseball players will do just that.

Out of curiosity, how much of that would be gobbled up in taxes. I know here in Canada, you don't have to pay anything of a lotto jackpot to the government, but if you put it in the bank, you would have to pay taxes on any interest the jackpot would generate. In the US of A, I think lotto jackpots are taxed at around 40 to 50 percent of the initial payout (correct me if I'm wrong). Also, is this Euromillions a pick 6 numbers lotto or is it something even more impossible to win?

Er...I'm still here as we didn't even match ONE number !!! :-(

I am NOT a happy bunny.

So many things to buy (yes including the Dominion Republic if you like, Mike) so little time and (now) so little money!!

Voxpops - not sure about the tax. There are 5 numbers and 2 star numbers on your line.

To get the jackpot, you have to have the 5 numbers and 2 star numbers, and then the prizes go down, i.e. 5 numbers and 1 star number, 5 numbers, etc.

I don't know yet if anyone won the jackpot - but if they did I dislike them intensly. ;-)

Guess you're stuck with me !!

It's ok!! NO-ONE WON IT!!

It has rolled over again (10th time) and will be (drum roll): £100 million next week!!!

That will do nicely thank you.

;-)

Well! I did win something on the Euromillions! But I haven't ordered the yacht yet - £9.80 for matching a number and 2 stars!!

My only consolation is that no one else won either so it's £120 million next Friday.

Yep - that should just about be enough to keep me in the manner I deserve.
