The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Travel in april anyone BBC? by stephenPaul on 3 February 2007 10:08pm
Hello there. I am a freelance presenter for BBC Radio Four as well as tour guide and will be travelling around India and other places (nothing defined yet) to record some material possibly for production.

I am looking for a travel partner who is keen to learn editing, a great researcher with a sharp eye for good material and fun to be with - as well as feeling we don't have to be joined at the hip.

If you like the Mike Palin type proprammes that's a great start! Note there's no money in this but a great experience as travelling with a focus is much more fun. The trip starts april and my first idea is to record ashrams and those - particularly westerners who seek spiritual retreats and why: this might involve north india as a start: the research is up to you.

If you are motivated, laid back, un-flustereed in odd situations and not afraid to travel without a Lonely Planet guide in unusual places.: prepared to put the hours in with research rather than just tagging along: as well as work on a lap top on the road editing and doing all the boring bits----please email: [email protected]

we can start some correspondence and take it from there.
thanks for reading
